Christopher Olk

Christopher Olk is a researcher in the Freigeist group “Offshore Finance”, and a doctoral candidate in political economy at the Free University of Berlin. He has studied philosophy and economics in Berlin, Rome and Chennai. Christopher has published research on the international monetary and financial system, global energy and resource flows, monetary theory, and degrowth. In his doctoral project, he examines why state-owned oil and gas companies adopt such different strategies in the global energy transition.
